Poem: Oceans
Bismillah,
Hi friends, as you see, today's poem's gonna be long.
Ok now, here u go....
The ocean green,
The ocean blue,
It's beauty so much,
That you can't guess.
The marine animals,
Go from smallest to biggest,
Harmful to harmless,
Beautiful to ugly.
But! The ocean's flooding with plastic,
The whales are stuck in plastic,
The Marine animals are dying because of the garbage,
And, who threw that? Us.
The ocean was for whales,
To swim freely in,
But we humans don't like beauty and free of other creatures,
What they want is MONEY!
Taking advantage of their innocence,
Killing them all,
Or capturing them, to to sell,
For what? Money!
The Dolphins getting trapped in discarded nets,
That our hands can't take out of the sea after using,
And then we don't rescue and help them,
We just see them and go on.......
What we care about is us!
We don't care about the animals and the beauty,
We throw the nets and garbage into the sea without a thought
Of the animals that live there.
Can't you eat small fish? Is it important to kill these innocent creatures? And make pools of blood?
Can't we recycle? Is it important to throw things in the oceans?
What sort of traditional hunt is this? In which you hunt soooooo many animals?
"These oceans, belong to the marine animals, not us."
It's there will to swim freely there, but we, humans. Don't like anything except us, to be free.
So, this is enough for today,
Salam,
Sidra Khan.
